  1. Thank you guys! Once more interesting, informative and very entertaining! Being accompanied by Mike’s parents in this episode enhances your approach on discussing culture and life very nicely. Each with different biographies but the same way having lived for a long time or even lifetime with two languages and cultures, you share your experiences and recommendations to the audience from a ‘native’ and ‘external’ view simultaneously. A goog way to emphasize the ‘extraordinary’ details from the ‘regular’ around. You can easily switch roles and this often gives the discussion a very humourous but always charming turn.
Folks, everyone knows about the theory that the wingbeat of a butterfly may cause a tornado at the other end of the world. There is another one like “a single olive stone can change a man’s life completely”. The first only theory, the latter being PROVEN in this episode…! Go and listen!

  2. Thank you so much for your comment, Dirk! We are experimenting with different styles, doing pretty much whatever we think will be fun–for us and for the listeners–so it’s very helpful to get feedback. We’re still in the early stages of this podcast, so, good to know your thoughts as we try out different things. And yes, a humble olive stone can change a man’s life! Very funny comparison with the butterfly 🙂 Thanks again.
